At iSDA, we are thrilled to announce our new collaborative partnership with Sesi Technologies to bring our Virtual Agronomist AI advisory service to farmers across Ghana. This initiative is more than a project – it is a shared vision for empowering smallholder farmers with the knowledge they need to improve their livelihoods through smarter, data-driven farming practices.

Sesi Technologies provides technology solutions to help African farmers and agribusinesses to boost productivity, minimise losses and enhance their earnings. Since 2018, the company has delivered products and services that have positively impacted the lives of over 2,000 farmers and agribusinesses in Ghana and beyond, collaborating with the World Food Programme and other international partners to work to create a better life for farmers through innovative technology solutions.

Our partnership focuses on supporting farmers growing maize, rice, and soybean. Together, we aim to reach 20,000 farmers in 2025, transforming agricultural outcomes through improved yields, higher quality crops and optimised costs. Our Virtual Agronomist AI advisory service will provide farmers with recommendations on key agronomic practices, from fertiliser application to pest and disease diagnosis, helping farmers maximise their profits while safeguarding their resources.

For farmers, this means more than an increase in income; it is about fostering resilience and sustainability in their fields. Virtual Agronomist will offer practical, site-specific advice tailored to their unique conditions, helping to address challenges the farmers have faced for years.

As we move forward, 2025 will be a year of innovation, learning and impact. We are confident that this partnership with Sesi Technologies will be a game-changer for farming communities in Ghana, and we are eager to see the stories of transformation that will unfold.
