In a significant step towards transforming agriculture in Nigeria, we are excited to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Niger Foods to deliver AI-powered advisory services to farmers in the Niger State!

As part of this partnership, we will deploy our Virtual Agronomist AI advisory service to provide maize, soybean, and rice farmers with real-time, data-driven insights and advice to enhance crop management and increase yields.

Our service will provide personalised recommendations for essential agricultural practices, including fertiliser application and pest control, tailored to the unique conditions of each farm and will assist the farmers in improving their soil health by identifying nutritional deficiencies and suggesting the application of the correct nutrient balance.

Beginning in the 2025 season, we will initially focus on reaching 10,000 farmers, with plans to expand to 50,000 by the end of the year and in partnership with Niger Foods, we will train its field teams and local youth to use the Virtual Agronomist AI advisory system.

By harnessing the data-driven approach of Virtual Agronomist, we expect this project to not only boost yields and improve crop quality, but also enhance farmers’ profitability and promote sustainable agronomic practices. Our shared vision with Niger Foods is to create a long-term, sustainable solution that supports farmers, enhances agricultural productivity, and increases profitability.

We are excited about the potential of this collaboration to transform the agricultural landscape in Niger State and beyond, empowering farmers and creating a more sustainable future for farming.
